Preventive Measures against Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

Law Library will take the following measures from May 27, 2020 until further notice, in order to prevent the spread of the infectious disease and maintain the study environment in the library.

1. The Library will be closed on Saturdays. The opening hours of the Library will be shortened to from 9:00 to 17:00 on weekdays.

2. Admission to the library is limited to Kyoto University members only.

3. The Study Room will be closed.

4. The seat in the library room is not available.

5. When you came to the library room, please fill in your name and college register number.

6. Rare materials service suspension
The Library suspends the use of all the materials stored in the rare materials storage and the materials in the stack rooms at the Central Bldg (location:’Deposit’)

Responding to the rising concern over the spread of the novel coronavirus infections,
the Library will be closed for the time being.

Responding to the rising concern over the spread of the novel coronavirus infections, Law Library will take the following measures from Friday, April 3, 2020 until further notice, in order to prevent the spread of the infectious disease and maintain the study environment in the library.

1. The Library will be closed on Saturdays. Starting Monday, April 6, 2020, the opening hours of the Library will be shortened to from 9:00 to 17:00 on weekdays.

2. Admission to the library is limited to Kyoto University members only.

3. The Study Room will be closed.

4. The seat in the library room is not available.

5. When you came to the library room, please fill in your name and college register number.

6. The time to extend the borrowing period will be increased.
The undergraduate student can extend the borrowing period 4 times for items from the stacks and the‘Government’section, unless they are reserved by other users.

In order to prevent COVID-19 from spreading within the facilities,
Faculty of Law Library implements the following measures.

1:Those suspected to be infected are not admitted to the library. ( 3/9 – )
We also ask those with symptoms typically caused by COVID-19 to refrain from visiting the library.
The symptoms include fever, cough, sneezing and fatigue.
