A library card is required to use the library. The library card can be used in all libraries and rooms on campus.
You can use your IC card as your library card.
If you do not have one, we will issue you a library card, so please inquire at your nearest library/room about the reception desk.

You can use your IC card as your library card.
*The Facility Use ID cannot be used as a library card.
Please check the ”IC cards” of The Institute for Information Management and Communication (IIMC) for information on issuing IC cards.

We will issue a library card (IC card).
If you are a student, please bring your student ID that shows a 10-digit student number to the Main library or libraries in this list.
If you have an employment relationship with KU, please bring "Notice of Employment (労働条件通知書)" to the Main Library and libraries in this list.
If you are not a student and have no employment relationship with KU, please please bring proof of your status as a university member (ID card, student ID card, etc.) to the libraries in this list and submit an application form. Please note that the Main Library only accepts applications by e-mail. Please refer to this site.

*The library card has changed from a magnetic stripe card to an IC card in 2022. The entrance / exit gate of the Main Library has been renewed, and magnetic cards cannot be used, so if you will use the Main Library, you will need to exchange it for an IC card. Please contact the Personnel Planning Division regarding the issuance of an IC card.
