Fujikawa Collection

Fujikawa Collection is a collection of about 9,000 books formerly held by Dr. Yu Fujikawa (1865-1940). Dr. Fujikawa gathered the Fujikawa Collection with great effort from everywhere for his research to write his masterpiece "History of Medicine in Japan". In addition, the collection includes books related to education (e.g., text books) (Graduate School of Education and Faculty of Education Library, the University of Tokyo), which have been published in the late Edo period and Meiji period.
