Overview of Online Services (MyKULINE) | Procedures for use | FAQ
Online services (MyKULINE) enable you to renew or reserve books, and request Interlibrary Loans through the website. The following services are currently available online:

Check of Status of Lending/Reservation | You can check the loan/reservation status and the record of your borrowing and returning history. * Online loan renewal will be updated from the date of the renewal process. Interlibrary and Intercampus Loans | It is possible to request articles or books that are not available in Kyoto University Libraries (Interlibrary Loan Service) or your home campus (Intercampus Loan Service). Room Reservation | You can reserve Common Study Rooms and a Media Theater in the Main Library, and Group Study Rooms and a Theater Room in the Katsura Library. Please click "Room Reservation " on MyKULINE. | Information page: Space for self-study |
Alert Service | Notification by email regarding the arrival of new books & journals relating to the user's registered search condition. Please click “Add Alerts'' that appear when you open “Open Search Conditions'' after searching on MyKULINE. You can also change, delete, or add search conditions from the "Alert" on MyKULINE’s home screen. | |
Bookmark | You can bookmark the materials you are interested in and refer to them later. Please set it from the "Bookmark" on the MyKULINE TOP screen, the search results screen, or the material details screen. Editing such as organizing categories is possible from the "Bookmarks" page. | |
Tags | You can tag your favorite materials. Tags you add yourself will only be displayed on your MyKULINE. Please set tags from "Tags" on the home screen or “Add Tags” on the document details screen. |

If you have 1 or 2 but cannot log in:
Please ask at the library/room counter.
If you would like to request a literature request service at public expense:
Please bring the Application Form for Photocopy/Interlibrary Loan at Public Expense to your department's library/office.

A)
If you have a problem with your ECS-ID(I forgot my password , I can't activate my ECS-ID, because my activation key has expired. What should I do?): Please come to ACCMS (Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies) with your student ID or staff ID.
If there is no problem with your ECS-ID but you cannot use it, you will need to apply through the library's online service (MyKULINE). Please refer to Procedures for Use (mentioned above) and apply for use at the library.

If you can log in to Faculty and Staff Groupware, you will need to apply through the library's online service (MyKULINE). Please refer to Procedures for Use (mentioned above) and apply for use at the library.
If you can log in to Faculty and Staff Groupware, you may have made a mistake with either your ID or password or may not have completed the activation of SPS-ID. In this case, The library will not be able to help you. Please contact The Institute for Information Management and Communication (IIMC) from the Inquiries page.
A)
If you fall under the following conditions, you need to apply to continue using your ECS-ID once a year. So, please visit ACCMS (Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies).
Students:
Non-degree students (Research students and Auditors) who do not have an IC student ID.
Faculty and staff:
Part-time lecturers, JSPS researchers, etc. who do not have a faculty groupware ID (SPS-ID)
*ACCMS sends an e-mail every June to the All University Mail address of the people who need to apply. Please follow the application procedure. If you don't use this mail address regularly, please set the message forwarding.
If you are not listed above, your library card may have expired. Please go to the nearest library/library room to renew your library card.
A) They are the same as those of the Institute for Information Management and Communication (ECS-ID, i.e. a0******) or SPS-ID: an account used as the Kyoto University Groupware ID (SPS-ID, e.g. firstname123lastname). ECS-ID and SPS-ID have different passwords.
A) Sorry but you need to go to Media Center South Buildings Information Environment Support Center with your student or staff card. (Application method)

A) When you use library online services, you can register using ECS-ID or SPS-ID. If you have already registered ECS-ID as the library online service's ID, and you would like to change the ID from ECS-ID to SPS-ID, please come to any library.
