Opening hours (service desk hours) at Uji Library have changed effective Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
New Opening Hours (service desk hours) [From April 1, 2026]
Weekdays: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
The entrance remains locked during opening hours.
An IC card is required for entry (prior registration with the Uji Campus Main Building Access Control System is necessary).
If you are unable to enter with your IC card (e.g., members of other campuses or external visitors), please use the intercom.
For Registered Extended Access Users (Uji Campus Only)
IC card entry and self-checkout/return are available:
- Weekdays: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM / 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (midnight)
- Weekends & Holidays: 9:00 AM – 12:00 AM (midnight)
