[Main Library] The talk event "Wakatte-iitomo!" (わかっていいとも!) will be held. (June 22-26)

“Wakatte-iitomo! (わかっていいとも!)” is a talk event where students from humanities and sciences pair up to explain their research.

Participants will act as Speaker and Mentor:
- Speaker: explain their research
- Mentor: liven up the discussion with questions and reactions

The speaker and mentor will discuss in front of the audience, bridging the gap between humanities and sciences.
They are supposed to discuss without using a presentation slide or whiteboard.
The point is devising a plan to explain their research clearly.

This event will be held from Monday, June 22 to Friday, June 26!
No reservation is required to attend as an audience. We'll be waiting for you at Learning Commons, Main Library !

[RIMS Library] Usage Restrictions Due to the Relocation of Journals (Jul. 7-8, 2026)

At the Research Institute for Mathematical Sciences Library, we will be rearranging journal collections in the basement stacks and the open-shelf section on the third floor on Tuesday, July 7, and Wednesday, July 8.
Due to this work, access to all materials in the library will be restricted.

If you wish to use the materials, please submit a reservation request in advance to place the items on holds.
We will inform you by email when the materials are ready. Please come to the library counter to pick them up.
*Depending on the timing of your request, it may take a little while to reserve the materials.

There are two ways to apply. *The holding period is 7 days.

    Choose the reservation type "Keep Order" after clicking the KULINE's "Reserve" button.
  2. Apply via form
    Submit your request using the form below for materials such as books and journals marked "Short-Term Loan" or "Library Use Only" that cannot be reserved on KULINE.

The library will be open, but we will only be handling the pickup of reserved materials. You may not use the reading room or enter the Open Shelves.
