Kyoto University Rare Materials Digital Archive participated in Kyoto University Academic Day held at Zest Oike on Saturday, September 21, 2024.

Many visitors, from babies to people in their 80s, visited our special space for two hours only.
Some people were interested in our digital archive and asked questions, and we also had a valuable opportunity to interact directly with visitors.

Study Room 24 has opened!
But the air conditioning has been out of order and the room temperature is high.
We recommend to use the Library Reading Room during the day.

Location: Underground Zest Oike - Kyoto City Hall passage
Details: Floor decoration with old maps of Kyoto and panel display of “The Tale of Genji”

●[Event 2] Special space

Time: 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Location: Kyoto City Hall B2F
Details: For two hours only, Kyoto University Rare Materials Digital Archive will open a special space. Original novelties will be distributed!

Due to the approach of Typhoon No. 10, Main Library and Study Room 24 will be temporarily closed as below:

• 2024/8/31 (Sat) all day
• 2024/9/1 (Sun) all day

We are open as as usual on August 30, 2024 (from 8:30 am until 9:30 pm). [Added 8/30]
