Due to the upcoming weather conditions and the operation of public transportation, Katsura Library, the North Library, and the South Library may be temporarily closed or may open later than usual on Wednesday, June 3.

The latest updates will be posted on the Katsura Library | Engineering Libraries website, so please check for the most recent information.

On June 2, Study Room 24 will close early at 9:30 p.m.

On June 3, we will change opening hours if any of the following conditions apply at 6:30 a.m.

1. An Emergency Warning or Storm Warning for Kyoto City or a region including Kyoto City is issued by the Japan Meteorological Agency (Kyoto Local Meteorological Office).
2. Kyoto City Bus suspends its service entirely.
3. Three or more public transportation systems below suspend their service entirely or partly.
   • JR-WEST (JR Kyoto Line, Biwako Line, Kosei Line, Nara Line and Sagano Line)
   • Hankyu Railway (Kyoto-Kawaramachi - Osaka-Umeda)
   • Keihan Railway (Demachiyanagi - Yodoyabashi/Nakanoshima)
   • Kintetsu Railway (Kyoto - Yamato-Saidaiji)
   • Kyoto City Subway
