About Katsura Library

- Katsura Library suspend all on-site services from Apr. 27th to May 6th
- Please use the return box next to the main gate on the 2nd floor. You can use return box even if the library is open.
- Materials can be returned by postal mail or other delivery services if they are packed appropriately so that they are not damaged in transit.(Users are to pay the delivery fee.)
- Please use MyKULINE to extend the borrowing period.

- We will shorten the opening time to 9: 00 - 17: 00.
- We ask those with the following symptoms to refrain from visiting the library.
The symptoms : Fever, Cough, Sneezing and Fatigue - Admission to the library is limited to Kyoto University members (excluding graduates and retired faculty and staff) only.
- Please read your student ID card or IC authentication card when entering or leaving the library.
- Please keep a distance from other users in the reading rooms.
- The following areas will be open for the purpose of self-learning, meaning conversations are not allowed.
- 2nd Floor Open Laboratory
- 2nd Floor Research Commons
- Please use the return box next to the main gate on the 2nd floor. You can use return box even if the library is open.

Extending the due dates
The following due dates have been automatically extended.
You don't have to come to the libraries for returning books.
Original due dates: From April 15 to May 8
New due dates: May 15

Times to extend the borrowing period
Times to extend the borrowing period are increased as follows.
You can borrow books for about 3 months at a maximum. The due dates can be extended by using MyKULINE.
