The Main Library may close or change its opening hours in any of the following cases.
※The Main Library may also close temporarily when either of the following is predicted.
(1) When the Kyoto Meteorological Agency (Kyoto District Meteorological Observatory) issues a special warning or wind storm warning for Kyoto City or the area including Kyoto City.
(2) When Kyoto City buses are completely suspended.
(3) When three or more of the following transportation systems are fully or partially suspended
JR West (Kyoto Line, Biwako Line, Kosei Line, Nara Line, Sagano Line)
Hankyu Railway (between Kyoto Kawaramachi Station and Osaka Umeda Station)
Keihan Electric Railway (between Demachiyanagi Station and Yodoyabashi or Nakanoshima Station)
Kintetsu Railway (between Kyoto Station and Yamato Saidaiji Station)
Kyoto City Subway
