In October 6th, 2025, Shimon Sakaguchi, Professor Emeritus, who discovered regulatory T cell (Treg cell), has been announced as the winner of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.

 

 

To commemorate the win of the Nobel Prize, we introduce his key publications, which led to the award. As well, Prof. Sakaguchi's articles which published on the Kyoto University Research Information Repository (KURENAI) are listed below.
