Kyoto University Library Network

From October 1 (Thu.), 2026, the Engineering North Library, Engineering South Library, and Learning Commons will restructure their services.
The key changes associated with this restructuring are as follows:

• Library services on Yoshida Campus will be consolidated into the Engineering South Library.
• Materials currently held in the North Library will be transferred to the South Library. The North Library will be permanently closed.
• Opening hours for both the Engineering North and South Learning Commons will be extended to provide improved study spaces for students (Weekdays 8:00 am-6:30 pm).
• The South Library will update opening hours (Weekdays 10:00 am-5:00 pm). 

We sincerely apologize for the short notice regarding these adjustments and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
We remain committed to continuously enhancing our services for all students and faculty members studying and conducting research at Yoshida Campus.
