Revised "Future vision of Kyoto University Library Network"
京都大学図書館機構は、2016年2月18日に平成27年度第5回図書館協議会にて、「京都大学図書館機構将来構想改定版」を承認しました。
平成21(2009)年12月の将来構想策定から5年間経過した平成27年度、図書館協議会ではこの間の図書館をめぐる環境の変化を確認し、現況に対応した将来構想に改めることにしました。
今回の改定では、副題に「これまでの達成状況と新たな動向に基づくこれからの図書館機構のあり方」と示したとおり、将来構想のこれまでの達成状況を確認し、到達が不十分な事項を明らかにし、その結果を踏まえ、今後実現すべき図書館の課題を明確にすることを目的としました。
当初の将来構想では、10年先までの事業目標を立てていましたが、本改定においては、平成31（2019）年度までの今後4年間の事業目標を立てています。平成28（2016）年度から、改定版の将来構想に基づき、図書館機構の事業を推進して行きます。

New Database: "Discovery" (24 Feb.)
We are pleased to announce that a new search tool Discovery is available.
The “Discovery” enables you to search books, journals, articles, newspaper articles and so on including online resources.
What is Discovery
It is useful when you are not sure which database is appropriate for your subject or when you would like to search unfamiliar databases.
-Sometimes the data included in Discover are not fresher than in each databases, therefore in "Discovery" you may not be able to find the materials which you can find in each databases.
-Not all databases can be searched through the Discovery.
-More details aboutDiscovery
- Actually the function of Discovery is the same as the "KU Article Search which used to be linked by Articles tab. After "Discovery will be launched, the function of the Article tab will be limited to search just articles only.
- When you are off-campus, it is not possible to access e-journals and databases which Kyoto University subscribes to.
Please refer to How to use e-journals / databases via KUINS-PPTP remote access service when you would like to use e-resources off campus.

日 程： 2016（平成28）年 2月 24日（水） から 3月22日（火） まで（土日祝を除く）
作業時間： 9時~17時
※作業が行われる書架をシートで覆い、作業します。
・作業中の書架の雑誌を取り出す必要がある場合は、作業員に声をかけて、取り出してもらってください。
・作業中の書架と同じ電動ブロック内の書架を開ける必要がある場合も、作業員に声をかけてください。
※作業時間外は、電動書架の操作と雑誌の利用とも、可能です。
作業予定のエリアは、次のとおりです。
■ 2月24日（水） から 3月 9日（水） まで ---> 書架No.1-15
■ 3月10日（木） から 3月11日（金） まで ---> 書架奥 壁面の書棚
■ 3月14日（月） から 3月22日（火） まで ---> 書架No.154-161
