Application for letter of introduction to other university libraries

　 This form is for members of Main Library and  students and staffs of Engineering. It usually takes 2 or 3 business days to prepare a letter of introduction, so please apply well in advance. 　

Before Application

1. Please read "Using other university libraries" (Japanese Only)
2. Please search KULINE, and confirm KU does not hold the material. Some materials cannot be discovered by KULINE, so please also refer to "Reference Guide". (Japanese Only)
3. Please check the destination library's OPAC. ("List of Japanese University Libraries")
4. Please check the destination library's opening hours at the web site and apply a letter of introduction well in advance. You cannot use materials in some cases, for example, on binding, on loan, rare materials, in laboratories, etc. In general you are allowed to read or copy the material but are prohibited to borrow.

Application and Receipt

1. Fill the form below and click "Submit".
2. We will mail or call you when the letter of introduction is prepared. You can receive it (a) by a pdf file attached to an email, or (b) by picking up at the interlibrary loan desk of Main Library on weekdays (from AM9:00 to PM4:45). (Students and staffs of Engineering can receive it by picking up at their affiliated library.)
