The number of rare materials in Kyoto University Rare Materials Digital Archive topped 20,000 titles and 1.6 million images. As of March 8, 2021, Kyoto University Rare Materials Digital Archive provides 1,638,715 images of 20,340 titles.
Our diverse content covers Japanese literature in old manuscript and type printing, picture scrolls, historical records, Buddhist scriptures, books on medicine and mathematics, and illustrated maps and plans. Library Network disseminates the university's rare materials to the world through the promotion of OA.
